 Enter the domain name you wish to search for. Leave off the `www` part at the beginning. For example, to see if www.fife.net was available for use by your web site, you would enter fife only in the box and select .net from the pop-up. Do not enter any spaces.


A large majority of domain names have already been registered, some have been parked and not used. Parked means that they have been set up to point to a temporary server, which often inidctaes that that domain is for sale.

A short name is often best, but a longer name which is easily recognisable as your business is sometimes just as good.
